CB&I Federal Services contracted O6 ENV to provide a proposal for services for the structural demolition of Building 995 and the excavation of approximately 1,000 cubic yards of Trichloroethylene contaminated soil.
O6 ENV provided equipment and field resources for the structural demolition of Building 995 which was formerly used to test jet engines for the US Airforce. Once the building and slab were demolished all concrete was processed on site and transported in end dump trailers to a concrete recycler. There was approximately 1,000 cubic yards of contaminated soil excavated from beneath the building slab which was stock piled on a 50 mil HDPE liner for further testing. The excavation was backfilled with clean rock and graded per the project specifications.
