Our team carefully removed the impacted soils from the site and transported them to a Subtitle D landfill for safe and compliant disposal. In addition, we supported the installation of extraction wells and groundwater pumps to facilitate the remediation process and maintain environmental compliance. We also installed solar arrays to power the entire system, further demonstrating our commitment to sustainable solutions.

O6 Environmental performed all the trenching and assisted with the installation of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) piping, ensuring a durable and efficient infrastructure for the groundwater extraction system. Our team installed a single piezometer within the SBGR to monitor groundwater levels and facilitate the timing of when the extraction wells and pumps would bring new groundwater into the SBGR for treatment.

The construction of the subgrade biogeochemical reactor facilitated the in-situ treatment of contaminated groundwater and further supported the site’s remediation efforts. Following the completion of these tasks, we performed site restoration to return the area to its original condition.
